You just need to follow the directions below to open Command Prompt in Windows 8.1.
Step 1: First, you need to click the “Start” button as it has been shown in the screenshot below.
Step 2: Now you will see the Metro UI. On the left side in its bottom you will see a down arrow. Click this arrow to proceed to the apps.
Step 3: Now you will be in apps section. Here, you need to look for the app “Command Prompt”. If you swipe to the right side, you will find it at the end of the apps under the “Windows System” category as you can see in the image below. Click on it to open Command Prompt.
