Windows 8.1 has great features for the users. As the users know that Windows 8 and Windows 7 did not contain WiFi Hotspot feature and the users had to use a third party software to create a WiFi hotspot in the previous versions of Windows. Now Microsoft has introduced WI-Fi hotspot feature in Windows 8.1 and they do not need to create a Wifi hotspot in this update. They just need to activate it.
Steps to Turn on Wifi in Windows 8.1
Here you will find a simple method to activate WI-Fi hotspot in Windows 8.1. Just follow the steps mentioned below for activating it.
Step 1: Click on the “Start” button.
Step 2: You will see a down arrow at the bottom of the screen on the left side. Click on this arrow.
Step 3: Now the app’s window will appear before you. On the upper right corner, you will see “Search Function. Type “WiFi” in the search box. Some options will appear below.
Step 4: You will find the option Network Connections. Click on this option to open WiFi connection.

Step 6: You need to keep the cursor of your mouse on the white button and drag it towards the right side to activate it. Now the connection will be shown as “Activated” and you will see your system will be connecting with your WI-Fi connection.
