Evasi0n is the name known to every iPhone owner and jailbreak experienced user. For those who are still unaware, Evad3rs are a real smart team of hackers that launched the very useful jailbreak tool. Mainly developed for iOS 6 update, it also worked on iOS 6.1.2.
Unfortunately, it is not workable for iOS 6.1.3 marking the end of jailbreaking by evasi0n.
But there is nothing to worry about as evasi0n has a history of doing the impossible. These hackers are back in action with quite an effective solution: a series of 5 basic methods that work in a sequence to perform the jailbreak.
The major issue many iPhone users were facing with iOS 6 was the lock screen problem so Apple was bound to release iOS 6.1.3 which primarily fixed the lock screen bug.
The million dollar question for team Evasi0n currently is whether they should come up with an untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 or they should really wait for iOS 7 to be released first and then perform the jailbreak needed.
Anticipated Time of Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 or iOS 7 Release
The tighter security level with each subsequent iOS release isn’t very good news for jailbreakers since it makes the feat even more challenging. Rumor has it Apple will unveil iOS 7 sometime in June this year in WWDC. It is being heard the next iOS will be released for iPhone 5S.
We are likely to see iPhone 5 later this year in either August or September. We still don’t know whether all the issues currently in iOS 6 will be resolved in iOS 7 or they will continue to cause obtrusive experience for iPhone users. Thus the question remains, should evad3rs release untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 or look for iOS 7’s release first?
Let us know which jailbreak do you think is a more viable option.
